BAGUETTE PIZZAS

Ingredients

1 baguette, sliced in half crosswise and lengthwise (4 pieces in total)

Margherita Pizza Toppings

  1. 1 cup tomato sauce
  2. 3/4 shredded mozzarella
  3. Halved cherry tomatoes
  4. Mozzarella balls
  5. 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil(optional)
  6. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes(optional)

BBQ Chicken Pizza Toppings

  1. 1 cup BBQ sauce
  2. 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
  3. 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella
  4. 1/2 medium red onion, sliced
  5. 2 tablespoons sliced green onion(optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree Farenheit (180 degree celsius) and line 2 baking sheets and parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the baguette pieces on the baking sheet, cut side up.
  3. To make the margherita pizzas, spread 2 baguette pieces with the tomato sauce and top with the shredded mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella balls and basil.
  4. To make the BBQ chicken pizzas, spread 2 baguette pieces with the BBQ sauce and top with the shredded chicken, shredded mozzarella and red onion.
  5. Bake until the cheese is browned and bubbling, about 10 minutes.
  6. If using, garnish the margherita pizza with chopped basil and red pepper flakes and the BBQ chichken pizzas with green onions.
  7. Enjoy!

NOTE

This recipe makes 2 margherita pizzas and 2 BBQ chicken pizzas, but feel free to mix, match and set out ingredients to custosmize according to your taste.

Vegan/vegetarian substituion: Omit the chicken and substitue the shredded mozzarella with your favourite vegan cheese alternative.
